How long of a blade should my knife have?

I know that your thinking. A great judge I can get, right? Rambo eat your heart! But the hunting knife is always useful. Let's review the length of the rods and talk about their benefits.

Blades under 3 inches

These are often found in packing hunting knives. They are small, simple and consistent. It is good to clean and process a small game. They can do a good job in a field that worn great sports animals but suffer in the work of the meat.

Blades 4-7 inches 

This is a great place in my view of hunting knives. Temporary blade is enough enough to handle small tasks such as field dressing while it is long to do good cargo work. The best thing is to hunt a knife in this blade length.

Blades 8 - 12 inches

At this point you really get small machines. Others are ready to cut roasts and other forms of blasphemy but most are the only war or knife to fight. Am I not always making a knife fight against you? There's nothing wrong with blade length but I did not make my main hunting female.

Which Blade Design?

There are varieties of different types of buildings and each one has its own advantage. We will look at the most common designs used to hunt knives and decide which one you love best.

Drop Point
